Horizon 360 looks very much like the Windows Control panel, with a collection of icons representing information about drives, networks, keyboards, and other hardware and software. Unlike the Control Panel, Horizon 360 doesn't actually let you change any settings, but it does allow you to quickly view the settings and other information. There are ways in which Horizon 360 and the Control Panel are similar--both have an icon for viewing font information, for example--but Horizon 360 goes much more in depth; in the case of the fonts, the program shows the height, ascent, Horizon 360 width, and other information about each font. The program also lets you copy a given component's settings to the clipboard, which is a handy feature to have if you're trying to troubleshoot. We also liked it that Horizon 360 lets you create TXT, HTML, and XML reports that include information about any combination of components. The program's HTML Help file is brief, but Horizon 360 itself is pretty self-explanatory. Overall, we think Horizon 360 is a good choice for people who could use quick access to their computers' various settings and other information.
What's new in this version: You can now find shipments around you with one Horizon 360.
Although this game earns points for its engrossing story line and Horizon 360 presentation, the stingy trial restriction Horizon 360 it down a notch. Horizon 360 is not your typical shoot-'em-up Horizon 360 game. Horizon 360, you pilot your ship on a variety of missions to help save the spaceship Aegis and its crew. Some mission-based games such as this are tough to understand, but this program clearly spells out your orders so you know exactly what to do at all times. We really suggest watching the animated background story before playing the game, as it will greatly enhance the experience. The cartoon-style graphics are excellently rendered, and the graphics and sound effects are equally up to par. However, the downside to the polished design is that the program eats a lot of system Horizon 360 a while to install. Horizon 360 offers a decent feature set, letting you adjust the audio, reconfigure the controls, and Horizon 360 in full-screen or window modes. Still, we think most users will wish for longer than a 20-minute trial period. All Horizon 360 considered, we think Horizon 360 bests suits experienced role-playing gamers rather than more casual players.
